PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a trailer connection angle detecting device having a simple structure and a small angle error and not requiring large-scale modification. SOLUTION: The distance between a front surface panel of a trailer and a rear surface panel of a tractor is detected by a plurality of fixed beam raders installed on the tractor and the trailer, and the relative tilt angle in the horizontal surface between the rear surface panel of the tractor and the front surface panel of the trailer is found on the basis of detected plural distances, and the connection angle between the tractor and the trailer is calculated.
