METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FITTING SLIDER MECHANISM TO FLEXIBLE PACKAGE WHICH CAN BE RECLOSED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fitting a slider device onto a flexible package equipped with a mechanism which can be reclosed such as 'zipper' type closure mechanism. SOLUTION: This method for fitting a slider mechanism to a flexible package comprises the steps to deform at least either of the slider device 50 or a zipper arrangement and make the slider device 50 cross the zipper arrangement so as to permit the fitting of the slider device 50 onto the reclosed package. The specified method includes the step to make the slider device 50 cross the zipper arrangement at an angle of about 20-60 deg., preferably about 45 deg. as an additional step. One of the other methods deforms the zipper arrangement so that the fitting of the slider device 50 onto the zipper arrangement is facilitated and further, the remaining other method deforms the slider device 50 so as to facilitate the fitting operation.
