PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery frame transferring device, which can be easily and surely adjusted in such a manner that the lower surface of an embroidery frame may slightly be slid on the upper surface of a case and a sewing machine head section by making the height location of a carriage and the posture of the carriage adjustable. SOLUTION: A Y directional transferring mechanism of this embroidery frame transferring device is equipped with a member 25 to be guided and an attaching base 26. In this case, the member 25 to be guided has a Y directional frame which movably guides and supports the carriage 12 in the Y direction, and wherein the carriage 12 is guided by the Y directional frame 60. The attaching base 26 is connected to the member 25 to be guided, and to which an embroidery frame 11 is attached. Then, an adjusting mechanism 110 having a slit 111, which is long in the vertical direction, formed on the attaching base 26, and a screw member 112 which is passed through the slit 111 and removably connects the member 25 to be guided and the attaching base 26, is provided. By the adjusting mechanism 110, the height location of the attaching base 26 to the member 25 to be guided is adjusted. Also, a second adjusting mechanism, which turns the Y directional frame around a guiding shaft by adjusting the height location of a section supported by a guide member of the Y directional frame, is provided.
