PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an elevator door preventing a malfunction of a door 3 due to irradiation of external light even when light switches 4 and 5 are irradiated by external light. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with the full close detecting light switch 4 and the full open detecting light switch 5 detecting a fully closed position and a fully opened position of the door 3 on the basis of shading, and a position calculating counter 7 resetting a discrete value on the basis of shading detections of the full close detecting light switch 4 and the full open detecting light switch 5 to detect a position of the door 3 from the fully closed position or the fully opened position. When both the full close detecting light switch 4 and the full open detecting light switch 5 detect photoreception even though the discrete value of the position calculating counter 7 is a certain value for a predetermined time due to full closing or full opening of the door 3, a protection network 10 is actuated to de-energize a door closing motor 9. |
