ANTIBACTERIAL RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial resin composition not only exhibiting excellent antibacterial properties but also capable of inhibiting discoloration when molded or used which has been a big problem with a resin composition having incorporated therein a silver-based inorganic antibacterial agent. SOLUTION: The antibacterial resin composition comprises 100 pts.mass of a synthetic resin other than a vinyl chloride-based resin composition, 0.01-5.0 pts.mass of a silver-based inorganic antibacterial agent, 0.001-5.0 pts.mass of a metal salt of an organic phosphoric acid having a specific formula and 0.01-2.0 pts.mass of an inorganic ion exchanger.
