<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process of a granular material for aggregate using waste mud as a main raw material, by which cake-like waste mud whose utilization method other than that for land reclamation is conventionally not found can be reutilized, and the granular material for aggregate can simply be produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: This production process comprises sedimenting mud from a dirty slurry discharged from a gravel quarrying process, or the like, to obtain a sediment and compacting the sediment to form cake-like waste mud used as a main raw material, mixing and kneading together (a) 100 pts.wt. of the waste mud used as a main raw material, (b) 3-20 pts.wt. of cement on the basis of 100 pts.wt. of the main raw material, (c) 2-5 pts.wt. of an inorganic hardening agent on the basis of 100 pts.wt. of the cement and (d) required water to obtain a mixture, extruding the mixture while degassing it under vacuum into a granular material, and drying the granular material without firing it to produce the objective granular material for aggregate.</p> |
