PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire molding machine which automatically carries in/out a tire easily under a simply structured expansion and contraction mechanism. SOLUTION: This tire molding machine comprises a plurality of segments 13 and 14 arranged inside a tire W in order to tightly hold the bead parts Wa and Wb of the tire W and push plates 20 and 26 arranged outside the tire W, spaced from each other as specified in the circumferential direction of each of right/left drums 3 and 4 which freely come into contact with and separate from each other on a main shaft 1, at the right/left drums 3 and 4. In this tire molding machine, the segments 13 and 14 and at least the push plate 26 on the opposite head stock side in a direction where the tire W is carried in and out, are arranged in such a way that the segments 13 and 14 and the push plate 26 are expandable and contractible by the expansion and contraction mechanism using a tapered piston 5 and a block 11.
