PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavity-containing polyolefin-based resin film excellent in lateral tear properties, by which the coloring of printing ink is excellent and no white solid printing is necessary under the condition being used as a base material film of label, seal, tape or the like due to the excellent lateral tear properties and, at the same time, to the whiting properties and hiding properties due to its cavities and the recording sensitivity of an information recording paper and the cutting properties in an output printer can be satisfied, especially when the film is used as the base material film of the information recording paper such as a sublimation thermal transfer image receiving paper, a melt thermal transfer image receiving paper, an ink jet image receiving paper or the like. SOLUTION: By biaxially and laterally stretching a layer made of a composition (A), in which 5 to 30 pts.wt. of inorganic and/or organic finely divided particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 15 μm is compounded to 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin-based resin, a polyolefin-based resin film having a cavity-containing layer with a cavity content of 10 to 50 cc/100 g is obtained. |
