PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for purifying a gas formed by water electrolysis which is capable of forming a high-purity gaseous hydrogen and/or gaseous oxygen by utilizing a water electrolysis effect, and a method for purifying the same. SOLUTION: This system for purifying a gas formed by water electrolysis has a water electrolysis section which forms gaseous hydrogen and/or gaseous oxygen by utilizing the water electrolysis, gaseous hydrogen piping and/or gaseous oxygen piping which takes out the gaseous hydrogen formed by the water electrolysis section, a deoxidizing catalyst section and/or dehydrogenating catalyst section which is interposed in the gaseous hydrogen piping and/or gaseous oxygen piping and a heat quantity supply section which supplies a heat quantity to this catalyst section. |
