POLYARYLENE SULFIDE RESIN COMPOSITION AND PART OF ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide resin composition suitable as a sealing agent or a coating agent for obtaining a part of an electrical/electronic apparatus having long-term reliability, and a part of an electrical/electronic apparatus sealed or coated using the composition. SOLUTION: The polyarylene sulfide resin composition comprises (a) 18-35 mass% of a polyarylene sulfide resin, (b) 2-10 mass% of a graft copolymer comprising 80-50 mass% of a thermoplastic elastomer segment and 20-50 mass% of a vinyl polymer segment, and (c) 55-80 mass% of silica and/or hydrophobized magnesium oxide. The part of an electrical/electronic apparatus is sealed or coated using the composition.
