PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and the size of a device by integrally forming a carrying rotating body easily grindable at an outside diameter of a carrying part and having kick-out projection parts. SOLUTION: A reading and paper-discharging roller 56 for carrying a sheet formed of an elastic friction member integrally comprises the carrying part 56a with the outside diameter thereof ground, and at least two projection parts 56b which are protruded in the direction of the outside diameter larger than the outside diameter of the carrying part by a predetermined quantity and provided in the radial direction on one end side of the carrying part 56a.
