PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple rice cooker that cooks a tasty rice and a service trolley that distributes boiled rice just cooked. SOLUTION: The rice cooker 2 comprises a bottom side heater and a surrounding heater on the tray 1 and a rice cooking pot 6 which is put in rice and water is mounted on the bottom side heater, and an upper side heater 7 which has a double structure made of a heat transferring cover 8 and a heat shielding cover 9 is provided to cover the rice cooking pot 6, while the lower end of the heat transfer cover 8 is put on the surrounding heater 5. By connecting electric current to the heaters 4, 5 and by heating the rice cooking pot 6 by the heater 4 from the bottom, while the heat of the surrounding heater 5 being transferred to the heat transfer cover 8, the rice is cooked from the upper, the bottom and the surrounding. The contact 12 is one of the contact point of the heater circuit and connected with the power source when the tray 1 is installed on the service trolley.
