PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a herb tea, especially a new method for producing a herb tea by blending a useful plant having a health promotion action with tea leaves of a herb, especially a method for producing a herb tea which is produced by blending a useful plant having a health promotion action growing in Japan with a herb excellent in a fragrance and has a flavor, a color and a fragrance of Japanese taste and excellent efficacy. SOLUTION: Lemon grass being a herb having a lemon fragrance is roughly cut, dried to a fixed degree, then finely recut to give a raw material of lemon grass tea leaves, which is blended with a finely cut and dried raw material of tea leaves of useful plant having a health promotion action, naturally aged for a fixed period of time and then roasted to produce the objective herb tea. |
