<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To line and repair the inner surface of a superannuated small caliber existing sewer main pipe by using a thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe. SOLUTION: A plug 5 is inserted in a branch pipe 2 from the connection port of a main pipe 1 and the branch pipe 2 to be fixed so as to leave a definite distance from the connection port, and a thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe 3 is brought into close contact with the inner wall surface of the main pipe main body so as to close the connection port and heated at the part of the connection port to be softened. A push fixture 4 is used from the inside of the softened part at the connection port to be pushed toward the interior of the branch pipe from the inside of the synthetic resin pipe to deform the pipe wall of the synthetic resin pipe, so that the leading end of the pipe wall surface of the pushed-in thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe reaches the vicinity of the plug fixed in the branch pipe. Thereafter, the gap between the thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe and the inner surface of the branch pipe is filled with a cut-off material 6 under pressure from the opening part provided in the vicinity of the leading end part of the pipe wall surface of the thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe, or the through-hole preliminarily provided to the plug. After the plug is detached, the thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe in the vicinity of the connection port is heated and softened, and the push fixture is pushed in to deform the thermoplastic synthetic resin pipe toward the inner surface of the branch pipe to bring the same into close contact with the inner surface of the branch pipe.</p> |
