<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out light distribution in accordance with an actual road shape. SOLUTION: A rough curved shape is assumed from road information of a navigation device, and a decelerating motion effective range before a curve is decided for each of decelerating motions from it and vehicle speed. When decelerating operation with which a drive corresponds is detected in the decelerating motion effective range, a headlamp device (headlight) is controlled to be in a diffused state from a converged state. A reason to carry out diffusion control by detecting the decelerating operation is to make it possible to take an extensive view of the whole curve by lighting up the vicinity of a vehicle extensively as the probability of existence of the curve is high. Additionally, light distribution in the cross direction is not thereby carried out as it is not clear which way left or right to travel. Thereafter, light distribution angle control is carried out in the diffused state in the judged direction by judging in which way left or right (and how) it turns in accordance with steering operation of the driver.</p> |
