PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid having low toxicity and volatility, high chemical stability and transparency, and a high refractive index. SOLUTION: An antimony halide is formulated with a liquid organic compound in a formulation ratio regulated so as to make the refractive index nd >=1.7. When antimony (III) bromide in the antimony halide is used, the liquid having higher refraction index can be provided. At least one kind of a hydrocarbon, a halogenated hydrocarbon, an alcohol, a glycole, an ether, an ester, a keton, a sulfurized hydrocarbon and a nitrided hydrocarbon compound is preferably used as the liquid organic compound. |
