PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured device capable of adjusting the seat of a wheelchair to be tilted with the front rise for preventing a user's hips from slipping off the seat. SOLUTION: By the tilt angle adjusting device for the seat of a wheelchair, seat fixing parts 2a and 2a on both side edges of the seat 2 of a folding wheelchair with a frame assembly structure can be fixed to both side support frames 1 and 1 for supporting the seat in the front rise tilting condition at an arbitrary angleθfrom the horizontal condition relative to the seat support frames 1 and 1 via tilt adjusting boards 3 and 3 whose section is inverted U-shaped and whose angle can be adjusted.
