PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for fitting/removing a bat for potter's wheel in a potter's wheel by which the bat can be easily fitted on and removed from a turntable of the potter's wheel and centering effect of the bat is not declined after a number of uses and even if the centering effect becomes out of order, it can be easily adjusted. SOLUTION: A plurality of fitting members each with an angle-shaped crosssection are fitted at the same intervals at a position of a locus being at the same distance from the central part of the surrounding part on the underside of the bat to be fitted on the turntable and a contact member is screwed on the apex of an adjusting screw fitted on the supporting part of each of these fitting members and a compression spring is elastically provided between this contact member and the supporting member of the above described fitting member while it is circularly wound.
