PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feed roller capable of eliminating the static electricity via a sheet feed roller itself, improving the sheet feed capacity of a sheet feeder of a copier, a facsimile, a printer, etc., and fully meeting a request for the weight reduction, and the cost reduction. SOLUTION: The sheet feed roller is formed conductive by applying a conductive material 6 on a surface 2 of a resin roller shaft 1 and a surface 4 of a rubber roller 3, and the static electricity is discharge to a metal part 8 of the sheet feeder via the sheet feed roller itself.
