PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an unevenness in temperature hard to occur in respective containers being carried by making a temperature difference hard to be generated in a can body, and perform a heat treatment of a high precision. SOLUTION: This container-treating device is equipped with a carrying conveyor 4, water storage tanks 14, 15, 16 and 17, water sprinkling nozzles 18, 19, 20 and 21, and a temperature control means. In this case, the carrying conveyor 4 is provided in the can body 9 and carries the containers 3. The water storage tanks 14, 15, 16 and 17 are arranged under the carrying conveyor 4. The water sprinkling nozzles 18, 19, 20 and 21 are provided in a manner to communicate with the water storage tanks 14, 15, 16 and 17. Then, the container-treating device heat-treats the containers by sprinkling water of a specified temperature to the containers 3 which are carried on the carrying conveyor 4. In such a container-treating device, a water sprinkling amount in regions being close to both side walls of the can body 9 is made larger than that of the internal regions.
