SOLUTION: The image for superposing displayed on a display source 71 on a ceiling 1 over the driver 2 is reflected by a reflection mirror 73 and the image light of the image for superposing is irradiated to the combiner 95 suspended from the ceiling 1 to be supported near the upper end of the windshield 3. The virtual image of the image for superposing is superposed with the foreground of the vehicle through the windshield 3 to be virtually recognized on the opposite side of the combiner 95 as seen from the eyepoints I1 and I3. A housing 77 accommodating the display source 71 and the combiner 95 are constituted to be vertically movable.
