PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for raising ink capable of surely filling in a groove of an intaglio in the case of forming a rib having a section of a high aspect ratio on a surface of a material to be transferred by using glass paste having a high viscosity based on a method for printing the intaglio. SOLUTION: The method for raising ink in the intaglio comprises the steps of fixing a sheet-like intaglio 1 on an intaglio adsorption plate 11. The method further comprises the steps of coating the glass paste 3 on a surface of a base 2, and then heating the paste to semi-cure the paste. The method also comprises the step of mounting the base 2 on a support frame 14. The method also comprises the steps of moving down the table 20, and pressing a flange 23 of a lower end of a sidewall 22 on a sealing base 16 to form a sealing space around the intaglio 1 and the base 2. The method also comprises the steps of drawing a vacuum in the sealed space, then further moving down the table 20, pressing the paste 3 to the surface of the intaglio 1 to press inject the paste in the groove 1c. The method also comprises the steps of then opening the sealed space with the atmosphere, and then raising the table 20 and the base 2. Thus, the paste 3 is separated from the base 2 and raised on the surface of the intaglio 1.
