PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fully automatic washing-drying machine having a compact shape, wherein hot air is passed through a path which circulates a blower, a heater, a washing-cum-dehydrating tank, and a heat exchanger, and the heat- exchanger is formed into an air-cooling system in a washing machine which fully automatically performs from washing to drying. SOLUTION: Hot air by the blower 33 and the heater 32 forms a path which circulates the blower 33, the washing-cum-dehydrating tank 25, the heat- exchanger 31, the heater 32 and the blower 33. At the same time, the heat- exchanger is formed by the air cooling system for this washing-drying machine. In such a washing-drying machine, since the section of the heat-exchanger is formed by the air-cooling method, the whole of the constitution is made compact under a state wherein many additional parts are not required, and processes from washing to drying can be fully automatically performed.
