PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components and a cost by simplifying a structure of a recorder. SOLUTION: A recording sheet detecting member 12 of a detector 8 is contacted with a recording sheet fed from a sheet feeder, and rotated at a first fulcrum 35 as a center and shields an optical axis of a photosensor 16. Meanwhile, when the sheet is passed and contacted sheet is separated, the member 12 is returned to its original position by an urging force of a spring 37, and does not shield the axis. A carriage/and cartridge detecting member 15 of the detector 8 is contacted with a carriage engaging part provided at the carriage and a cartridge engaging part, rotated at a second fulcrum 43 as a center, and shields the optical axis of the photosensor 16. Meanwhile, when the contact of the detector 8 is disconnected, the member 15 is returned to its original position by the urging force of an urging spring 44 and does not shield the axis any more. |
