PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming device capable of significantly increasing an operating speed by increasing a feeding speed of a plate to be machined. SOLUTION: The trimming device used in a machine for trimming the plate such as, particularly, a glass plate comprises a first moving member 2 and a second moving member 3 set at at least one edge of the plate L to be machined, the first moving member 2 and the second moving member 3 supporting a first grinding wheel 5 and a second grinding wheel 6, respectively, and being connected to driving means 20, 21, respectively. The first grinding wheel 5 is moved so that the first grinding wheel 5 can machine the plate L to be machined at its front edge and the second grinding wheel 6 is moved so that the second grinding wheel 6 can machine the plate L to be machined at its rear edge.
