METHOD AND MOLD FOR CONTINUOUSLY MANUFACTURING ORIENTED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a mold for continuously manufacturing an oriented product, enabling the control of orientation and the molding or high speed molding of a thick-walled product and capable of certainly suppressing the relaxation of orientation at the time of cooling to enhance the strength and elastic modulus of the obtained oriented product. SOLUTION: The method for continuously manufacturing the oriented product is equipped with a stretching process for stretching and orienting the raw material resin composition, which contains at least a thermoplastic resin and is supplied into the resin flow channel in the mold in at least one orientation direction in a molten state to obtain a stretched object molded into a molded product shape; and a cooling process for cooling the stretched object obtained in the stretching direction to obtain the oriented product. The stretched object is cooled to at least an orientation relaxing temperature while continuously held so as to be suppressed in shrinkage.
