PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven parts for molding decoration of a template from being damaged by its upper stage part when the templates used for manufacturing a building board with unevennesses for decoration on the bottom faces in joint channels are piled and stored. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a building board in which a raw material on the template is pressed to manufacture the board and to mold joint channels on the board and the board is cured and demolded to obtain an original board and the original board is cutted and actually processed to obtain the building board and the templates are piled up during the templates are stored, in the template 11, uneven parts 19 and 20 for molding decorations are formed on the top faces of projected parts 17 and 18 for molding the joint channels and the unevennesses for decoration are molded on the bottom faces in joint channels of the original board by the uneven parts for molding decorations and upper stage supporting parts 21-26 being higher than the uneven parts 19 and 20 for molding decorations are formed and channel parts molded on the original board by the upper stage supporting part are arranged on the parts to be removed by cutting and actual processing of the original board and when the templates are piled and stored, the upper stage part is supported by the upper stage supporting parts 21-26 of the template in such a way that the upper stage part is not brought into contact with the uneven parts 19 and 20 for molding decorations of the template.
