PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strength test device for a bag capable of easily and quantatively testing whether a bag is broken by a prescribed load. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a bag holder 1 rising and falling while holding the bag 6, a lift mechanism 22 capable of lifting up the holder 1 repeatedly, a bag holder releasing member 18 which releases the holder 1 from the mechanism 22 at a prescribed height to enable it to fall and a collision receiver 20 with which the dropped holder 1 collides.
