The invention concerns a human NPAT protein 11 and polynucleotideencoding it. The invention also concerns the process of producing the polypeptide by recombinant DNA technique. The methods for treating many diseases e.g. asynergy telagiectasis, carcinoma of breast, colorectal carcinoma, other tumor, developmental disorder, inflammation, immunological diseases and infection of HIV etc. utilizing the polypeptide are disclosed.
