The present invention discloses a novel polypeptide - human branched-chain alpha -ketoacid dehydroegnase (BCKDH) E1- alpha subunit 9.9 and a polynucleotide encoding the same, as well as a method of producing the polypeptide by DNA recombinant technique. The present invention also discloses methods of using the polypeptide in treatment of various disease, such as maple sugar urine disease, organacidia, developmental disturbance and so on. The present invention also discloses an antagonist against the polypeptide and the therapeutic use of the same. The present invention also discloses the use of such polynucleotide encoding human branched-chain alpha -ketoacid dehydrogenase (BCKDH) E1- beta subunit 9.9. |
