<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an ink retention force thereby preventing ink from being supplied defectively or leaking by setting a melting temperature of a resin forming a core part of fibers constituting a negative pressure generation member to be higher than a melting temperature of a resin forming a front layer. SOLUTION: A cartridge is constituted by filling a fiber (fiber body) as a negative pressure generation member. A occupation percentage of the fiber body to a space of an area where the fiber body is stored is set 15-25%. The fiber consists of a core part B of a central part and a front layer A set to the periphery of the core part B. A resin fiber of a low melting temperature is used for the front layer A to form the negative pressure generation member. Provided that the generation member is heated to not lower than a temperature of a resin of a fiber outer layer and not higher than a temperature of a resin of the core part, thereby making the fiber intersect by a plurality of the number of times, an intersection part is melted to immobilize the whole fiber. An interval decrease of the fiber when filled with ink lowers an ink retain force itself as a whole of the tank, thereby preventing generation of ink supply failures, ink leakage and the like.</p> |
