PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming ferrite core gap for fly back transformer(FBT) is provided to firmly fix the gap sheet between upper and lower ferrite cores, while forming the gap in a uniform and easy manner. CONSTITUTION: A ferrite core(4) constituted by upper and lower cores(2,3) is installed to an FBT having a low voltage bobbin inserted into the FBT. The ferrite core has an end inserted into the low voltage bobbin. A gap sheet(5) interposed between upper and lower cores so as to form a gap(G), has a bonding hole(6) formed at the center of the gap sheet. The bonding hole is filled with a silicon resin adhesive so as to form a gap. The bonding hole has a diameter(p) 1/2 to 2/3 of the total diameter(P) of the gap sheet. The silicon resin adhesive prevents the gap sheet from being moved, and allows the gap sheet to be firmly fixed between upper and lower cores.
