PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate consolidation of soft ground made of cohesive soil by ultrasonic waves, to shorten the term of works and to increase strength of soft ground. SOLUTION: This construction method is characterized by providing a discharge water means for discharging water retained in cohesive soil on soft ground, providing an ultrasonic wave generation means to apply ultrasonic waves to the soft ground, generating cavitation by applying ultrasonic waves generated by the ultrasonic wave generation means to the cohesive soil, liberating water retained in the cohesive soil by the cavitation and discharging the water by the discharge water means.
