PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a sucking air quantity by increasing the opening area in an element presser for supporting the clean side of an element to reduce ventilation resistance. SOLUTION: The inside of this air cleaner 10 surrounded by a case 11 and a lid 12 is partitioned into the dirty side 15 and the clean side 16 by the element 17. The clean side 16 opening part of an element holder 18 for supporting the element 17 is covered with the element presser 12, and the element presser 21 is formed in a louver shape.
