Composite body consists of two metallic parts having a different material composition and detachedly connected together. One part of the composite body is made from a material containing fibers and produced by powder metallurgy. The parts are metallically bound together. Preferred Features: The metallic bond is formed by welding free from additional material, especially by laser welding and electron beam welding. The fibers are made from oxides, carbides, nitrides and/or borides. The fibers are coated. One part of the composite body is formed by a matrix of tool steel made from an iron-based alloy containing up to 30% cobalt, up to 20% molybdenum, up to 20% tungsten and up to 20% hard phases.
|
