PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and the load on the user. SOLUTION: This arm portable information device which is fitted to an arm to carry is equipped with a body 101, having an electronic circuit for performing information processing, one or more connector plates 201 which interconnect a function unit 102 having an electronic circuit for additional function detachably with the body 101, and an electrode 203 for communication between the body 101 and the function unit 101. The connector plates 201 detachably interconnect the function unit 102 with the body, and communication is conducted between the body 101 and the function unit 102, via the electrode 203. As a result, the desired function unit 102 is connected with the body 101, and function of the arm portable information device can be changed according to applications and purposes. |
