摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction of reflectance of a reflection film by treatment in high temperature after the reflection film is formed by using a silver alloy or the like, when the silver alloy or the like are used for the reflection film in a reflection type or a semitransmission semireflection type liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is so constituted that substrates 200 and 300 are stuck to each other via a sealing material 110 and a liquid crystal 160 is sealed in the gap therebetween. A common electrode 214 is provided on a facing surface of the substrate 200 and a base layer 301, a reflection film 302 consisting of the silver alloy or the like, a protective film 303 covering the reflection film 302 and a segment electrode 314 are provided on a facing surface of the substrate 300. Since the growth of the grain of the reflection film 302 is suppressed by the protective film 303 when treated in high temperature, the reduction of reflectance is avoided. A wiring 350 consists of a reflection conductive film 352 having grains larger than that of the reflection film 302 and a transparent conductive film 354 formed by patterning the same layer as the segment electrode 314.
