PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor substrate material which can exert sufficient sound insulating properties against both heavyweight impact sound and light-weight impact sound, in spite of a relatively thin thickness thereof. SOLUTION: The floor substrate material is formed by partially binding together a plurality of metallic plates superposed on each other. The thicknesses of the respective metallic plates are rendered different from each other. Further, an interval between bound portions where the metallic plates are bound together is set to 200 mm or more.
