<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape loading device capable of performing high speed and stable loading without giving damage to the tape nor disengaging a tape from a loading member even in the case of a reel having a large winding diameter ratio. SOLUTION: A magnetic tape 2 is spread between a pair of reels 3 and 4. A reel base 5 drives the reel 3. The acceleration of the rotating angle of the reel 3 associated with the drawing of the magnetic tape 2 by loading members 9 to 12 is almost fixed or increased gradually. The reel base 5 is made into an unbraking state during the drawing of the magnetic tape 2, and the tension is applied using a tension band 7 almost simultaneously with drawing completion to shift the reel base 5 to the braking state.</p> |
