PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of more properly guiding a user to a designation. SOLUTION: A memory part 3 stores a guide message for instruction a route for advancing a vehicle along a guide route and a guide massage showing that the vehicle is under traveling along the guide route. A processing control part 5 reads the guide message stored in the memory part 3 when the vehicle reaches a branch point to turn left or light along the guide route, and outputs the guide message by voice through a voice synthetic part 9 or the like. The processing control part 5 resets a timer 5a and counts the time elapsed without outputting the following guide message.
