RADIO REPEATER AND POSITION INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PRIVATE USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio repeater and a position information system for private use where identification numbers of marker stations required for building up the system can quickly be transmitted and the marker stations can flexibly and easily be arranged. SOLUTION: In the position information system, the marker stations are arranged in a tree, where a route station is placed in the highest layer and the other marker stations are hierarchically arranged from the 1st layer to the n-th layer, and a personal computer 10 is connected to the route station. When the route station communicates with a PHS terminal 20 through each of the marker stations, the route station obtains a call signal identification code (CS-ID) of a nearby marker station of the PHS terminal 20 and can recognize a current position of the PHS terminal 20 by discriminating the identification number and the hierarchical number of the marker station included in the CS-ID and checking a corresponding installed position.
