PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain cold at low running cost and low initial cost and to effectively utilize a heat of a vapor exhausted from a compressor to heat a solution in a regenerating machine. SOLUTION: Engine cooling water from an engine 1 is used as a heat source to operate an absorption refrigerating machine. Meanwhile, a vapor of an ammonia water solution is generated by an exhaust gas from the engine 1, a vapor turbine 21 is driven by the vapor, and a compressor 24 integrally cooperatively coupled to the turbine 21 is driven. The vapor in the evaporator 14 is sucked by the compressor 24, a pressure in the evaporator 14 is lowered from a pressure in an absorber 12 to obtain the cold. Vapor piping 30 from the compressor 24 is introduced to the regenerator 8, heat exchanged with the engine cooling water to heat the ammonia-water solution after the heat exchanging.
