PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding mechanism which works as a switching mechanism and an actuating mechanism for various parts and makes these operations possible by repeating one-touch operation of pushing. SOLUTION: The sliding mechanism gives a prescribed motion to the actuating pieces 2 and 3 by moving the pieces 2 and 3 forward and backward. The sliding mechanism comprises the body 4; the case 6 consisting of the body 4 and the cover 5 covering the body 4 which forms internal space for storing; the slide plate 7 having the actuating pieces 2 and 3; the link 8 which is rotationally supported by the rotating axis 15a and pushes the slide plate 7 forward; the actuating piece 13; the operating element 10 comprising the button board 9 which moves the slide plate 7 forward with the rotation of the link 8 obtained by pushing the actuating piece 13; and the energizing element 11 consisting of the first energizing part material 18 and the second energizing part material 32.
