PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device, for which the cleaning capacity of an electrifying member that is equivalent to that at an initial time can be secured, even after endurance. SOLUTION: In step S1, whether the cumulative number of revolution of the electrifying member from initial time is more than the set number of revolution is discriminated, and when the cumulative number of revolution of the electrifying member is discriminated to be more than the set number of revolution, in step S2, abutting interval of a cleaning member to the electrifying device is varied to be longer. Thus, rubbing of foreign matters, such as accumulated toner on the cleaning member after duration against the electrifying member can be kept down and approximately equivalent cleaning capacity from the initial time up to, after endurance can be secured.
