PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device, realizing space saving, in the case of forming a color image performed by laminating plural toner images, and preventing the resolution of the toner image on the downstream side from being lowered. SOLUTION: For this image-forming device, the image is formed, by vertically disposing plural image carriers on a side that a belt state intermediate transfer body which is extended around upper and lower rollers thereof travels from the above toward the below, and overlapping toner images on plural image carriers on the intermediate transfer body; and moreover transferring overlapped toner images on transfer material by a transferring part arranged downward of the intermediate transfer body.
