PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photographic sensitive material having enhanced strength of the coating, nearly free of scuffing and the leaving of rugged marks on the surface in heat development and excellent in the color tone of an image and to provide a method of image forming using the sensitive material by which durability of a heating rubber roll is enhanced in heat development and stain is suppressed in running processing. SOLUTION: In the heat developable photographic sensitive material with a layer containing an organic silver salt, photosensitive silver halide grains and a reducing agent on the base, a silane compound of formula (1) or (2) and an acid anhydride are contained.
