PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate zoom lens and an accurate zoom lens barrel excellent in operability using a cam barrel made of plastic capable of being manufactured at low cost while maintaining accurate dimension, and using a cam follower pin consisting of a small number of component parts engaged with the cam barrel. SOLUTION: This zoom lens is constituted by arranging plural lens groups, an operation ring rotated by a user in order to perform zoom operation, a cam barrel where a cam groove is formed and which is rotated and moved by the operation ring, a straight advance barrel where a straight advance groove is formed and which is not rotationally moved, and the n-th lens group frame supporting the n-th lens group, and fixing the cam follower pin engaged in the cam groove and the straight advance groove to the n-th lens group frame. The cam barrel is molded of plastic, and the cam groove is formed to be wider outward, and the cam follower pin is elastically deformed to be engaged in the cam groove.
