PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister allowed to surely secure a space for housing filter elements while restraining influence exerted on a canister installing space of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In this canister where the inside of a cylindrical adsorbent case 3 having a pair of mutually opposing end part walls 3a and 3e and a side wall 3h arranged between these end part walls 3a and 3e is partitioned into plural suction chambers 4A and 4B by a partition wall 3b extending in the same direction as the side wall 3h, and an atmosphere connecting port 28 is arranged outside one end part wall 3a, an opening part 3f for connecting the inside and outside of the adsorbent case 3 is arranged in the end part wall 3a, and filter cases 26 and 41 are arranged outside the opening part 3f. Filter chambers 26a and 41a are arranged inside the filter cases 26 and 41 so as to be interposed between the opening part 3f and the atmosphere connecting port 28. The filter elements 30 and 42 are housed in the filter chambers 26a and 41a.
