PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowing method in a converter with which (T. Fe) in slag at turndown is controlled to low when molten iron, particularly pretreated molten iron subjected to dephosphorization or desiliconization-dephosphorization is blown in the converter. SOLUTION: This blowing method in the converter has the peculiarity, in which the dephosphorized or desiliconization-dephosphorized pretreated molten iron is used, and just before or just after starting the blowing, CaO content, such as lime, light burnt dolomite, is charged, and after passing through >=50% of the total blowing time, 50-100% of SiO2 content, such as silica rock, is charged.
