VARIABLE ADDRESS APPOINTING CIRCUIT OF SYNCHRONOUS TRANSFER DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A variable address appointing method is provided to increase an absorption margin of a transfer speed difference for input data and reduce a transfer delay using an elastic store of a minimum size. CONSTITUTION: There is judged an overhead of input/output data applied to an elastic stores. If the overhead of the input data is detected, a read address synchronized with a clock of a front part becoming a half of a judged bit number of the overhead is provided to the elastic store. If the overhead of the output data is detected, a write address synchronized with a clock of a rear part becoming a half of a judged bit number of the overhead is provided to the elastic store.
